20th August 2014 7pm: Join with radicals, thinkers, activists, poets, and intellectuals on the Monterey Peninsula to read and discuss some of the greatest philosophers of our time. For the third Theory and Philosophy Reading Group, we’ll be reading Achille Mbembe’s important work, “Necropolitics.”

Wednesday 16 July 2014 – 6:30pm: Part two of the four part seminar series, Thinking Critically about Society. This session, led by Michael Frederiksen of the Peace and Justice Center, will discuss some of the key readings of Marxism in a friendly and accessible way.
