Wednesday 16 July 2014 – 6:30pm: Part two of the four part seminar series, Thinking Critically about Society. This session, led by Michael Frederiksen of the Peace and Justice Center, will discuss some of the key readings of Marxism in a friendly and accessible way. 

Wednesday July 9th, 6:30pm-8pm – The first session in the summer seminar series, Thinking Critically about Society.  A night of feminist, queer, and gender theory presented in an open and inclusive way.

June 18th, 7pm: Join with radicals, thinkers, activists, poets, and intellectuals on the Monterey Peninsula to read and discuss some of the greatest philosophers of our time.  We are particularly interested in 20th and 21st century philosophy, and our second readings will come from Michel Foucault’s History of Sexuality.
