Book signing with CSU Monterey Bay Professor Ned Huston

Saturday 1 April 2017, 2pm-4pm: A professor in the School of Humanities and Communications, Ned Huston, will be at Old Capitol Books signing copies of his new work of creative fiction, Quantum Time Theories – the first book in a SciFi trilogy called The Nevertime Chronology.

About Ned Huston

4088746a81347802b2f9e7f084f6d281.jpgFrom his website: “I was born in Wichita, Kansas, but really you could say I was born in pop culture America.  I’ve been interested in science fiction all my life and studied under James Gunn at the University of Kansas.  I published a science fiction short story “Pliny’s Commentaries” in the hardback anthology UNIVERSE 17 in the late eighties while I was a teaching assistant there.

“After getting my PhD. I spent a year as an adjunct assistant professor at Iowa State University, where I met the love of my life Bonnie Irwin.  We married and moved to Illinois, where I continued writing novels no one wanted to publish.

“I perfected a process of writing novels quickly but gave up writing on 9/11 and didn’t write again for thirteen years.  I taught at Eastern Illinois University until July 2014 when I moved to California to teach at California State University, Monterey Bay and started writing novels everyone wants to read.” Read more here.
