It is the story of a disabled boy who is abandoned by two sets of parents and seeks to create a family of his own. Forbidden friendship, first love, and miraculous events take place at St. Isidore’s Fainting Goat Dairy, revealing an extraordinary boy’s tale of loss and connection, self-discovery, and the transforming power of forgiveness.

Saturday 7 November 2015, 12:30pm: This coming Saturday, Rev. W. Grace Nicodemus will be in Old Capitol Books discussing her recent work, Eating with Grace.

This is a book about permission. It’s a book about feeling good and eating well, and learning that both are worthwhile. It’s about understanding that the “bread of life” is more than a plate of food, that food is only part of what nourishes us.
