Dr. Jan Knippers Black returns for “Coffee Time” (MIIS Amnesty International)

DATE CHANGE: Wednesday 10 May 2017: Dr. Jan Knippers Black, a professor at MIIS is returning to Old Capitol Books this May! She will discuss in an intimate setting her involvement as a board member of Amnesty International. Her latest book, The Politics of Human Rights Protection will be raffled off for book signing after the event. She also will do book signing for other books that participants bring to the coffee talk. The first 15 people will have guaranteed seating. Standing room is also available. Old Capitol Books will be closed on Christmas Day, but will be open on Christmas Eve until 4pm. Come get last minute gifts or take a break from the bustling outside world in our calm and beautiful bookstore. 🙂
