SATURDAY, APRIL 6, 2013 (2:30pm) – Come enjoy an afternoon reading of selected passages from The Inherited Heart: An American Memoir—not a dry, church-like rendering of text, but a musical presentation of playful and purposeful prose. Short lyric portions of the book are laced with original music and songs—“standards”—from the era depicted in the book: the program’s flexible format shaped to please its audience—the music adding another dimension to and enhancing the words.
