Theory & Philosophy 37: Heidegger and Daoism

We’re meandering through subjects, questions, and problems that interest us. After reading the Tao Te Ching and reading works by Heidegger and Levinas, we’ve decided to spend some time exploring a segment of Heidegger scholarship that looks at connections between Heidegger and Taoism.

The Theory & Philosophy Reading Group is a series of informal discussions based on an assigned text. The reading group aims to take conversations about philosophy out of the ivory tower and to make philosophical inquiry and curiosity accessibly to interested members of the Monterey community.
