The Theory and Philosophy Reading Group here has been weaving its way through black phenomenology and black epistemology. After reading some of Jean-Paul Sartre’s work in support of African liberation struggles, we moved on to read Frantz Fanon, Kathryn Gines, James Baldwin, and Achille Mbembe.
