Sam Salerno, 90, owned KRML for nine years (1968-1977), during which “Play Misty For Me” was filmed- in KRML studios, in part.. Before that he was “Sam The Morning Man” in Las Vegas, a Larry King-style interview show on which he interviewed some of the biggest stars in show business.

CANCELED: Authors and Editors: Butting Heads or Holding Hands?

bookeditingMonday 22 May 2017, 6pm-7pm: Join us as we explore the various levels of editing that contribute to a professional-caliber book. We’ll scan the spectrum, ranging from work that can help clarify the author’s thinking early in the creation stage (developmental editing), through important stylistic and mechanical work that helps establish consistency (copyediting), and then the final polishing pass to ensure quality (proofreading).
